On behalf of the organizers I would like to thank everybody who joined us, I hope you had a great time in Prague and we are looking forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
Participating Remotely Over the Internet
Those of you who are interested in joining the workshop but could not make it there physically could join us remotely over the internet. We will be broadcasting a live mp3 stream from the meeting, it would be possible to watch the material being presented on a webpage and you could post questions and comments on an IRC channel that we will be monitoring. We will start broadcasting the stream at 16:00 CET.
Go to http://www.iptel.org/jan/ser_workshop [4] , this is the page where you could watch slides, post comments and questions and listen to the audio stream.
The page fetches the image from the beamer every 5 seconds. The bottom frame contains a simple IRC client which allows you to enter your nickname and join an IRC chatroom that we will watch for questions and comments.
The audio stream will be mono, 32kbit/s. If you are interested in the audio stream only then you can play it from http://ant.iptel.org/ser_workshop.m3u [5]directly.
Note that the whole system is highly experimental so please excuse us if something does not work, we are doing our best to make the contents available online :-).
As several people expressed the desire to continue with technical discussions during the SER meeting [6] there will be another SERi [7] Developer Workshop on 21st of March 2007 in the offices of Tekelec Czech Republic.
When:
Wednesday, 21st of March 2007, starting at 16:00.
Who should attend:
Anybody who is interested in SER/SEMSi [8] development and in technical discussions related to the projects.
Registration:
Please send an e-mail to jan@iptel.org if you plan to attend so that we know how many people will be joining us. Participation is open and free of charge.
Getting There:
The address of the office is Luzna 2, Prague 6. The map of the location can be found here [9]. The best way how to get there from Prague downtown is by cab. If you want to use public transportation then go to Dejvicka subway station (line A) and then continue on tram 20 or 26 to station Nadrazi Veleslavin. The building (tall glass and steel) will be on your right hand side (5 minutes walk).
Topics for discussion:
- SER Ottendorf (2.0) status update (Jan)
- SER/SEMS interface issues (Bogdan, Stefan)
- Documentation
- Integration of SER/SEMS/SERwebi [10]/SERctli [11]
- Project Governance
These items capture things we were talking about at the first meeting, feel free to suggest anything else you find important.
